Yesterday
Well i have to say i wasn’t sure what to expect with being short listed to win the Australian Telstra Business of the year awards, and i have to say it avery gruelling process. It took close to five weeks to have the initial submission ready ( well Jesse mostly, he did 95% of that job thank god).
We had to sit the interview process yesterday in which we basicallygot drilled for close to two hours onour business, future direction for Succeed and basically life in general.
It was actually a great process as it has given us the opportunity to really assess where we are now to where we seethe business heading in the future. Basically it has helped us build a five year business for the organisation which is great.
I believe both Jesse & myself did a great job and we now wait for the judges to go to all the other businesses and do the same interview process, and we should know by the end julyy how we went.
I will keep you posted.
We also got stuck outside for Bootcamp yesterday morning at Fadden due to school exams. Thank you tothose that fronted in the cold weather ( wasn’t too bad really). Sometimes i do come up with silly training ideas that really don’t seem that hard until you do the session ( and yes i actually participated)….
Great work to those that attended, we did 3 x 12 minute sets of running with a variety of exercises at the end of the court and it was much harder than it looked on paper ( a bit like cross fit style really). I gotta say that after legs on Tuesday and then back up with that yesterday has taken a toll on the old body…. Hopefully it will bounce back today.
Over the coming weeks i will actually post the session plans up on the website, so you can have a look and maybe write it down for your yourself to try one day.
Anyway gotta go and start on a 13 hour PT day, will be a struggle another late night and early morning. Maddy has been a little saint and has pretty much slept all night for the last 5 nights which is really making a big difference. I would be wrecked if she had been waking up during the nights.
My little princess has just turned 1 and is very cute. Not sure how she gets into some of the sleeping positions she does.
Trying to send Lisa back to work full time so i can do Daddy Day Care everyday…. I love it.
