Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just to give you an update we have raised in the vicinty of $23,000 for Cystic Fibrosis at the 2010 Succeed & LJ Hooker Charity Ball.

A huge thank you to all the 514 people that were in attendance and helped support such a worthy cause.

Again a massive thank you to all the sponsors for your kind support this year. Stay tuned for a spiel on each company, we would appreciate you get behind them at any opportunity.

Well what a night ladies and gentlemen….

I huge thank you to all the sponsors and supporters of the 2010 Succeed Charity Gala Ball. It was a huge success and like myself I am sure you all had a fantastic night.

As soon as I have the total raised on the night I will let you know.

One thing I can say is that my head only stopped hurting on Monday morning and I am never drinking AGAIN… (until the ball next year).

Also huge thank you to all the 182 + people that came and supported the Bootcamp that Shannan Ponton and I ran in the morning. It was an amzing show of people (far more than we could have imagined).

We raised just over $2000 from the Bootcamp, which will go a long way at ‘The Special Care’ Nursery at John James Hospital to purchase a new humidy crib. So a huge thank you to all those that donated for such a worthy cause.

Also a huge thank you to my good friend Shannan Ponton for kindly giving up his time to run the Bootcamp with me, thanks mate (still not sure why everyone wanted photos with you and I get thrown in the mud…)

Hey All,

As most of you know, my wife and I have just had our 2nd child Oliver (photo below), and we nearly lost him in the first few weeks of his life. Thanks to the tirelss efforts of many Dr’s and nurses, Ollie pulled through and is getting bigger and stronger everyday…

So this Saturday 14th August, Mr Shannan Ponton (instructor on The Biggest Loser), has been kind enough to donate his time to come and teach a Boot Camp Fitness Session in Canberra at Tugg Town Park at 10am.

Cost is $10 per person or child, with ALL proceeds going to John James Hospital to fund another humidy crib for the kids that might end up in Ollie’s position.

We love for as many of you to attend as possible and help us raise much needed funds for such an important machine to help keep the kids Alive. Here is where you money will be going (photo of Ollie in the crib):

Hi All,

Well, the year is fairly flying by and the cold months are upon us. Aside from heading indoors for Boot Camp, it also means that the Annual Succeed/LJ Hooker Charity Gala Ball is fast approaching!

This year will mark the 5th year that Succeed has run the event, and we are planning on this year being the biggest and best yet.

Due to an overwhelming attendance last year, we have also changed the location to allow for more people!

Details for this year’s event are:

WHEN: SATURDAY AUGUST 14TH
WHERE: HELLENIC CLUB, WODEN

So mark it in your diary!

This year we will be supporting Cystic Fibrosis Australia, and we are aiming to better last year’s fundraising efforts by $10K and raise over $35,000 on the night.

Events of this kind are only possible through generous support of sponsors – this year LJ Hooker Tuggeranong and Robert Matheson, Australia’s number 1 real estate agent, have come on board as our major sponsors.

 However, for the night to come to fruition we are still seeking additional sponsors for our Platinum and Diamond packages.

At this point, we have 1 x Platinum packages, and 4 x Diamond packages available – please email charityball@succeed.com.au  for additional information.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in what is quickly becoming known as Canberra’s best night out!

Tickets are selling fast, so BOOK NOWif you wish to come and help raise money for a very worthy cause - Camp Quality Kids with Cancer.

Come and help celebrate a great night out with our special guest - Sam Rouen ( Winner of the Biggest Loser 2008) Sam will be in attendance on the night to help us raise money for Camp Quality. A big thank you to Sam for making the trip down to Canberra for the event, which is set to huge. Last year we had 352 people in attendance and we are looking at making the 380 - 400 mark this year….

Hi All. Well the time is fast coming that we again let our hair down, relax and enjoy a drink as we get together to help raise valuable funds for the charity : Camp Quality.

In the previous three years the events have been a huge success with over $50,000 raised so far. Times we all agree are getting tougher and the charity organisations are no different. We had to make a decision earlier this year whether to run the event again this year as it really is a time consuming  job  and we have actually lost money in previous years, but with a big thanks to all of our Sponsors coming on board we are in a position to again run the 2009 Succeed & LJ Hooker Charity Ball.

As there are quite a few sponsors, in the coming weeks i will do separate blogs on each and every sponsor that have been kind enough to come on board and help support the Succeed Ball so as to give them the gratitude and exposure they deserve for assisting us with the ball.

Tickets sales are now being taken, but be sure to move fast as we have already sold over 150 tickets.
